Martyr Salam Saeed Ibrahim was born in 1980 in the village of Kawlokan, affiliated with the Rawandiz district, Erbil Governorate. He studied up to the primary school level and was married.
In 1998, he joined the organizations of the Kurdistan Democratic Party. In the same year, he became a Peshmerga and later became a squad leader in the Sidakan Army. He participated in the battles to defend the rule of law in the Sidakan area. On September 2 of the same year, he was martyred in the battle to defend the rule of law on Mount Girdal in the Sidakan area by PKK militants.
