Sahib Habib Hama Rashid Wahab was born in Bayara subdistrict in Halabja Governorate in 1972. He was a resident of Bayara and a middle-school student. He joined the ranks of the Peshmerga of the Bayara Firoz Battalion, affiliated with the Hawraman forces of the Kurdistan Democratic Party.
In 1987, he fell into an ambush by soldiers of the Baathist regime in the Hawraman area, where he sustained serious injuries. Despite his injury, he was able to escape the ambush. After receiving treatment in 1987, he was granted the rank of platoon commander.
Sahib Habib Hama Rashid Wahab was martyred in 1988 after clashes with soldiers of the Baathist regime in Khormal subdistrict and falling with his comrades into an ambush by the regime's army. The soldiers transported his body to the city of Sulaymaniyah, where he was buried in Girdi Seywan Cemetery by the city municipality.
