Rashid Salih Rashid was born in Year 1973 in the village of Stuni, under the Sherwan Mazn sub-district of Mergasor District in Erbil Governorate. He was married and had four children, and had studied up to the third grade of middle school. In Year 1990, he became a refugee in the Country of Turkey, and in Year 1991, after the popular uprising of Southern Kurdistan, he returned to Kurdistan and settled in the village of Leluk.

In Year 1985, he joined the organizations of the Kurdistan Democratic Party within the borders of the Mergasor District Committee. In Year 1991, after the popular uprising of Southern Kurdistan, he joined the Peshmerga Forces of the Kurdistan Democratic Party and became a Peshmerga under Commander Malham Dari in the Barzan Army. In Year 1993, he became a member of the 11th Congress of the Kurdistan Democratic Party. In Year 1994, he was transferred to the 104th Force under the command of Hamid Argoshi and became the person responsible for the force's organization.

In Year 1996, in a defensive battle in the village of Meroz in the Mzuri Bala area against the armed men of pkk he was severely wounded. In Year 1997, in the village of Meroz, by the armed men of pkk he was martyred and his body was buried in the cemetery of the village of Leluk.
