Omid Qadir, in Year 1984, joined the 17th line of the secret organizations of the Kurdistan Democratic Party in the border of the Sulaymaniyah Regional Committee, affiliated with Branch Four.
In Year 1985, he was appointed as an employee in the Kirkuk Electricity Directorate and became the personal driver for foreign engineers. Therefore, through this, he was able to be a good helper for the secret organizations of the Erbil Plain, Koya Plain, inside the city of Kirkuk, and its surroundings. In addition to that task, he continued to assist in the Provision of the needs of the Peshmerga Forces.
In Year 1985, by order of the Party leadership, he took two foreign engineers from the city of Kirkuk to the Erbil Plain and handed them over to the Peshmerga Forces. The goal of this action by the revolution leadership was only to exchange them for some Peshmerga prisoners who were in the prisons of the Ba'ath regime. He also received a collection of messages and pamphlets of the revolution and went to Koya and then returned to Kirkuk. At the moment of his arrival at the Kirkuk city checkpoint, due to the disappearance of the two engineers, Omid Qadir was arrested. After a search, a collection of pamphlets and messages of the Party were found in his car, and for that reason, he was transferred to the General Security Headquarters of Kirkuk city. Three months after his arrest, Omid Qadir was transferred to Abu Ghraib prison and was executed by order of the Baghdad Revolutionary Court.
