Politician Nezhet Halî Mihemed Qadir, known by the name (Nezhet Halî). In 1982, he joined the ranks of the Kurdistan Students Union and in 1984, he joined the ranks of the Kurdistan Democratic Party. He was a delegate to the eleventh 1993 and twelfth 1999 congresses, and in 2010 at the thirteenth congress, he was elected as a member of the leadership council of the Kurdistan Democratic Party. In 2004, he was the head of the special organization office. In 2018, he became the Director of the Protection Agency attached to the Kurdistan Region Security Council.

 

Biography

Nezhet Halî was born in 1966 in the city of Erbil. In 2000, he completed the law department at the College of Law of Salahaddin University - Erbil, and in 2007, he received a master's degree at the National Defense University (Difa' Al Watanî) in Baghdad. In 2018, he became the Director of the Protection Agency attached to the Kurdistan Region Security Council. He is proficient in Kurdish, Persian, English, and Arabic languages.

Work History

Nezhet Halî's grandfather was martyred in 1932 in the first Barzan revolution, and his father (Halî Dolemerî) in 1945, after the defeat of the second Barzan revolution, migrated to East Kurdistan and in 1946 participated in the army of the Republic of Kurdistan and in 1947 was one of those companions of General Mustafa Barzani on the path to the Soviet Union and was martyred in 1995.

 

Nezhet Halî migrated to the country of Iran with his family in 1975 after the defeat of the September Revolution, and in 1982 he joined the ranks of the Kurdistan Students Union and in 1984 he joined the ranks of the Kurdistan Democratic Party. He was a delegate to the eleventh 1993 and twelfth 1999 congresses, and in 2010 at the thirteenth congress, he was elected as a member of the leadership council of the Kurdistan Democratic Party.

 

During his time working within the ranks of the Kurdistan Democratic Party, he held several duties and responsibilities. Such as member of the special organization office 1995, head of protection for Duhok province 2001, administrator of the first branch committee of Duhok 2001, assistant to the Head of the General Protection Agency (2002 - 2003), head of the special organization office 2004, etc...
