Martyr Nazir Mustafa Muhammad-Salim was born in the Year 1967 in the village of Argosh, Shirwan Mazn sub-district, Mergasor district, Erbil province. He studied primary school in the village of Argosh, and in 1975, after the collapse of the Aylul Revolution he was displaced to the Country of Iran with his family. He began his studies in exile.
In 1980, he joined the ranks of the Kurdistan Students and Youth Union. The same year, he joined the ranks of the Kurdistan Democratic Party and was responsible for the Students and Youth Union organization. In 1986, he joined the Peshmerga Forces of the Gulan Revolution and became a Peshmerga.
In the Year 1987, in the Balayan Valley in the Balakayati region, he was martyred during an attack on the positions of the Iraqi Army and was buried in the Balayan cemetery.
