Martyr Musa Aziz Omar was born in 1972 in Pireka village, belonging to the Sidekan district of Erbil Governorate. He was uneducated and married.
In 1991, he joined the Kurdistan Democratic Party. In 1995 in Sidekan, he joined the National Defense Forces, then became a Peshmerga in the Sidekan Army. He took part in the battles in the Sidekan area. On January 1, 1998, during the war to defend the rule of law, he was martyred by PKK militants in Nazariya village in the Sidekan area.
