Karim Qadir Khidir Binmerdeyi, known as (Karima Gawra), was born in 1928 in the village of Binmerde, Akoyan Valley, Rawanduz District, Erbil Governorate. In Year 1961, he joined the Peshmerga forces of the Aylul Revolution and was martyred on the night of September 10, Year 1962.
Martyr Karim Qadir Khidir Binmerdeyi, known as (Karima Gawra), was born in 1928 in the village of Binmerde, Akoyan Valley, Rawanduz District, Erbil Governorate. He studied in a religious school and was literate. He was married and had three sons and one daughter.
In Year 1961, he joined the Peshmerga forces of the Aylul Revolution and became a Peshmerga, participating in the battles at the beginning of the revolution. On the night of September 10, Year 1962, at the age of 34, he was martyred by a collaborator (Jash) on the front of the 'Kelkel' mountain between the villages of Faqiyan and Bejan.
