Martyr Karim Fetah Qadir was born in 1902 in Hesen Awa village of Halabja Governorate. He was a villager engaged in farming. He was married to Kafiye Mihemed and had two sons and two daughters: Omer, Ahmed, Xawer, and Behiye. One of his sons, Omer, was his comrade and was martyred with him.
In 1963, through the chief Ebdula Baghdadî, he became a Peshmerga in the Newroli organization at the Ferec Haji Mahmoud branch, which belonged to the Khabat Battalion of the Kurdistan Democratic Party.
In 1963 he returned with Martyr Heme Gulpi and a group of comrades to Hesen Awa village for a short rest and to obtain their necessities. They were discovered, however, and a large force of the Iraqi regime of that time surrounded their village. After fighting and confrontation, Heme Gulpi and several comrades managed to escape, while Karim Fetah Qadir and three comrades, Omer Karim Fetah, Haji Karim, and Salih Mihemed Ali, were arrested, shot at the village entrance, and martyred there.
