Jawhar Khdr Qadir was born in 1973 in Mawiliani village, belonging to Rawanduz district in Erbil Governorate. He studied through the sixth grade of primary school and had not married. After the South Kurdistan uprising in 1991, he joined the ranks of the Kurdistan Democratic Party. He later became a Peshmerga in the First Battalion of the Sixth Army in Soran. He took part in most of the battles to defend the law in the Soran area. On October 10, 1997, he was martyred in the Battle of Mount Drabi by bullets fired by PKK militants.
