Biography

Jamil Jalal Qasim Suleiman was born in 1953 in Erbil Governorate. He was a student in the final stage of primary school. Jamil Jalal's mother's name was Safiya Ali, and his brothers' names were Izzadin, Badradin, Jawad, and Wahab.

Jamil Jalal Qasim Suleiman In 1965, he joined the secret organizations inside the city of Erbil and became a cadre. Along with nine cadres, who consisted of Saran Nafasa, who was martyred in an activity inside the city of Erbil when a grenade exploded in his hand, Ako Aziz Qandili along with his son, who were both martyred in an activity inside the city of Erbil, Khalid Ahmed Gardi, Aliya Gawra, Zyad, and Ismail Police, who was a policeman in Erbil at the same time and a Peshmerga of the cell, they had direct contact with Faris Bawa, the commander of the Erbil Plain Force of the Kurdistan Democratic Party and they carried out a group of major activities inside the city of Erbil. In 1968, after being exposed while carrying out an activity inside the Erbil market, he headed to Haji Omaran and became a Peshmerga in the Second Battalion under the command of Sergeant Osman, belonging to the Erbil Plain Force of the Kurdistan Democratic Party under the command of Faris Bawa. In 1969, he participated in the artillery development course in Haji Omaran and achieved first place at the level of the course. The immortal Barzani, as a gift for his first place, gave him a set of Kurdish clothes and the amount of 5000 Dinars, and he became a trusted person of the immortal Barzani. 40 days after the completion of the course, he became one of the companions of the immortal Barzani in the Barzan region. 

In 1974, Jamil Jalal and two comrades named Yasin Yunis and Hassan Hanjirokayi went to the city of Erbil to carry out an activity. On their way, between Kandi Badawan and Kona Gurga, they fell into an ambush by the regime's soldiers. Jamil Jalal was hit by seven bullets from a (DShK) type weapon and was martyred. Later, the regime's soldiers dragged his body with a vehicle to the Republican Hospital in the city of Erbil and completely disfigured his body. Five days after his martyrdom, they handed his body over to his mother.
