Martyr Faisal Khadr Rasul was born in Year 1979 in the village of Basekan, affiliated with the Sidakan district, Erbil Governorate. He worked in farming.
In 1997, he joined the organizations of the Kurdistan Democratic Party and in the same year, he became a Peshmerga in the Sidakan Army. He participated in the battles to defend the rule of law in the Balakayati and Sidakan regions. On October 29, 1997, he was martyred by PKK militants during the battle to defend the rule of law on Mount Spindar in the Sidakan region.
