The battle of Mount Rash took place in early November 1974 in the mountain Rash, west of Duhok. Because the area was under the control of the revolution, the Peshmerga continued their activities, especially shelling military convoys. To put an end to the revolution there, the Iraqi army launched a significant offensive, but it failed and resulted in significant casualties.

In June 1974, a confrontation ensued near the village of Faraja as the Iraqi army initiated an invasion of the Garmian region with the intention of reclaiming control over the area. The Peshmerga forces valiantly resisted the Iraqi army, inflicting significant casualties and temporarily halting their advancement. During this period, the Iraqi government, in its opposition to the Kurdish revolution,  launched a substantial attack against Kurdistan.

On April 25, 1974, the Battle of Shiwa Soor unfolded as the Iraqi army launched a renewed invasion against Kurdistan, seeking to control over all territories held by the revolutionaries and ultimately dismantle the September Revolution. For the Iraqi army, this engagement resulted in a significant defeat at the hands of the Peshmerga forces. Nevertheless, the Iraqi military encountered a significant setback when confronted by the formidable Peshmerga forces...

The battle had taken place on 19th June 1974 in Mount Azmar. At that time, Sulaimani was part of the Iraqi army. And the city did not have the strength to carry out military operations of its own free will. So, it planned to attack Mount Azmari, where the Peshmerga forces had established a defensive position. Even though the city was able to capture it, it suffered materialistically, and its casualties were heavy.

The Battle took place on November 15, 1980 in Haji Omeran. When the war between Iraq and Iran broke out, the revolutionary leadership wanted to take advantage of the situation of the Iraqi army in Omeran to move the revolutionary activities there and take over Omeran. However, the Iraqi army's situation was different from what the Peshmerga had been told in terms of strength, and the local weather did not aid the Peshmerga in their endeavors.

The Battle of Suse military base occurred in May 1974, following the Iraqi government's declaration of war against the Kurdish revolution. As a reaction, the Peshmerga initiated a strategic siege around the military encampment The Iraqi military initiated a strategic operation aimed at dismantling the encirclement of the Peshmerga forces and liberating the soldiers held captive in Sulaimani and Dukan.

The Battle of Shishar occurred in the autumn of 1974, engaging the Iraqi army in conflict with the Peshmerga forces. The army sought to gain control of Mount Shishar in the Betwata region, with the intention of expanding their authority over the surrounding areas. However, the Peshmerga forces fiercely resisted and successfully repelled the attack. They steadfastly prevented the government from seizing the mountain, ensuring it remained under Peshmerga control until the end of the 1975 revolutio

he battle took place in May 1987 in the Bamarni area of Badinan region. It was when the Peshmerga embarked a major attack on the Iraqi army bases in the area. The Peshmerga forces captured their military base and caused severe damage to the Iraqi army. They killed and took the soldiers of the Iraqi army a hostage, and they took over a large number of weapons and ammunition.

The Iraqi government launched a robust military offensive against Kurdistan in 1974 after deciding to reopen its conflict with the Kurdish revolution. Tanks, artillery, armored vehicles, and the air force all assisted in the day and nighttime raids. The Peshmerga positions in and around Mount Makok were the target of a military operation in August by the Iraqi army, which had advanced to the Betwen region.

The Battle of Sangasar occurred during the autumn of 1974, when the Iraqi army launched an offensive to seize control of Qaladze city. In response, the Peshmerga forces established a stronghold in Sangasar village, resulting in a ten-day-long conflict. Eventually, the Iraqi army managed to breach the Peshmerga defenses and successfully occupied Qaladze on August 19th.

Faizo Salim Khan, commander and Peshmerga of the September and Gulan revolutions, joined the Kurdish Peshmerga forces at the beginning of the September revolution, participated in many battles.

Suleyman Salih Barkhas Qadir, known as (Sulayman of Fata), was the Peshmerga of both the September revolution and the Gulan Revolution, received the ranks of platoon commander and commander of regiment and battalion commander, martyred in 1981.
