The conference was held on November 18, 2017, in the hall of Shahid (Martyr) Maimun Dabagh, at the headquarters of the Secretariat of the Kurdistan Students Union (KSU) in Erbil, under the slogan (Students Union; Renewal and Continuity) and with the presence of 65 delegates.

Yassin Muhammad, known as Corporal Yassin Doski, was a Peshmerga and commander of both the September and Gulan Revolutions, received the ranks of Sardasta, commander of the regiment, Commander of the battalion, squadron commander, Commander of the force, and participated in the 9th Congress of the Kurdistan Democratic Party.
