Qadir Zamin Ala-Murad Ali Wais, known as Wasta Qadir, was born in 1935 in The Town of Tawela belonging to the Bayara sub-district of Hawraman district; he was a resident of Tawela and was busy with gardening and carpentry. After the fail of September revolution, he became a refugee of Iran and lived in Hana Garmala in Iran. He was married and his wife was Sabria Hamaraza, he had one son and three daughters named Dlshad, Amira, Samira and Sabah.
In 1964, he became the Peshmerga of the third branch of the seventh battalion of the Kurdistan Democratic Party’s Khabat Force. He has participated in many battles, including the Zalm battle, the Battle of the Zalm Bridge, the Battle of Kani Sef, the Battle of Ahmedawa, and the Battle of Sharam.
In 1968, he was seriously injured in a confrontation with the Iraqi army in Sartak of Bamoy near Halabja.
In 1976, on the recommendation of Nader Hawrami, he began organizing and re-informing the Peshmergas of Hawraman and re-organizing for the Gulan Revolution in the camps of refugees in Iran.
In 1981, he participated in the epic battle of Sharam Mountain, and after two days of defending against the Ba'ath regime's attack on the mountains and the Peshmerga strongholds, Qadir was shot in the head and martyred along with one of his companion named Majnoon Shahid. His companions move their bodies to Iran and bury them in the Kemna mountain of Iran.
