Omar Karim Qadir Hama Amin

Omar Karim Qadir known, a martyr known as martyr Shamal graduated from secondary school and was a Peshmerga of the May Revolution. In 1983, he was ambushed by the Jalalis, Patriotic Union of Kurdistan (PUK) fighters near the Sirwan River, and was martyred.


Martyr Omar Karim Qadir Hama Amin, also known as martyr Shamal, was born in 1965 in Derbandikhan district of Sulaimani province. He was a resident of Derbandikhan town. He completed his primary and secondary school in Derbandikhan.

In 1983, he became a Peshmerga in the Tagozi battalion of the Sirwan force of the Kurdistan Democratic Party (KDP). At that time, Aziz Hamasaleh Tagozi was the commander of the battalion and Jalal Lawrani was the commander of the Sirwan force.

In 1983, in the village of Jardasna in the district of Sharazoor, near the Sirwan River, Omar Karim and his comrades were ambushed by a PUK force and confronted them. As a result, Omar Karim (Martyr Shamal) was shot and martyred.

Jalal Mohammed Ahmad

Martyr Jalal Mohammed Ahmad served as a Peshmerga during the May Revolution. Throughout his Peshmerga career, he encountered two occurrences of injury. In 1982, he was apprehended by the Sulaimani security forces and subsequently executed. Jalal Mohammed Ahmad was born in 1962 in the village of Dula Suri, located in the Nalparez district of Penjwen district. He grew up as a villager and received education up until primary school.
