Muhammad Saeed Doski

Muhammad Saeed Qasim Ibrahim (Muhammad Saeed Qasim Ibrahim), known as Dr. Muhammad Saeed Doski, joined the Kurdish Democratic Party in 1946. In 1979 he was elected by the representatives of the Congress as a member of the Central Committee of the Kurdistan Democratic Party (The Ninth Congress).


Muhammad Saeed Qasim Ibrahim (Muhammad Saeed Qasim Ibrahim), known as Dr. Muhammad Saeed Doski, joined the Kurdish Democratic Party in 1946. In 1972-1975 he was the representative of the September Revolution in the United States of America. In 1979 he was elected by the representatives of the Congress as a member of the Central Committee of the Kurdistan Democratic Party (The Ninth Congress). In 1979, he was the head of the Seventh Branch of the United States.


Biography 

Muhammad Saeed Qasim Ibrahim, known as Dr. Muhammad Saeed Doski, he was born in Duhok in 1926, completed his primary, secondary and preparatory education in Duhok city, he graduated from Agriculture highschool of Baghdad In 1946. In 1951 he received a bachelor's degree in the college of Science of Baghdad. In 1947 he was sent to the United States on a scholarship and was accepted in the University of Michigan. In 1954, he earned a bachelor degree in agriculture a Master of International Communication, in the United States of America in 1954, also in 1954 he was employed in the Ministry Agriculture in the Kingdom of Iraq, and on February 8, 1992 he passed away due to the heart failure in the United States of America. His body has been returned to Kurdistan on February 14, 1992, and his body was buried in a cemetery of a mountain of Duhok, and on February 9, 1998, it was decided by the Duhok Municipality Council to name the square opposite the Duhok Police Directorate after Muhammad Saeed Doski. He knew Kurdish, Arabic and English.


Memoir of Struggle 

In 1941, he joined the ranks of the Kurdish Hope Party, in 1943 due to his political activities and connections with the Kurdish Hope Party, he was imprisoned by the Iraqi intelligence agency. In 1945, he joined the ranks of the Kurdish Liberation Party. He had writings in the Runahi Magazine and Rozha Nwe newspaper under the pseudonym “Dilkuli Doski”. In 1946, he joined the Kurdish Democratic Party, in 1946  he was imprisoned for political activity. On May 12, 1955, he was appointed as a second degree of the third grade by the decree of the king he was employed in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Kingdom of Iraq. On May 30, 1956, he was appointed by the order of the king his administrative rank promoted to First degree in the third grade of the Ministry of Foreign affairs of Kingdom of Iraq.

In 1957 he worked as consul of the Kingdom of Iraq in the town of Khorramshahr (Kingdom of Iran), in 1960 he worked as the third secretary of the embassy in the United States of America. In 1963, his brother Taha Saeed Duski was martyred in the September revolution, in 1964 he worked at the Iraqi Embassy in The People's Republic of Libya, in 1968 – 1970, he worked in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Iraq, he was the ambassador to Yugoslavia in 1970, he resigned with the rank of Minister Plenipotentiary in 1971, and in 1972-1975 he was the representative of the September Revolution in the United States of America. In May 1976 with the purpose of negotiation for returning President Mustafa Barzani to the United States of America, freedom, and daily life met with Sidney Sobar, Deputy Assistant Secretary of State for Near Eastern Affairs ،

In August 1976, he welcomed President Mustafa Barzani in the United States of America and he always accompanied him. In October 1977, he became the head of the America and Canada Branch in the election of the Seventh Branch Committee of the United States of America, on March 21, 1978, in the presence of General Mustafa Barzani, he participated in the Virginia Nawroz celebration in the United States of America, in early 1979 he facilitated the return of President Mustafa Barzani's body to Tehran city. In 1979, he was elected by the representatives of the Congress as a member of the Central Committee of the Kurdistan Democratic Party (The Ninth Congress). In 1979 he was the head of the Seventh branch of the America. He was  one of the founders of the Kurdish-American Friendship Forum, and on March 21, 1981, at the Nawroz celebration of Nashville, United States of America, he read the speech of the Kurdistan Democratic Party.
