Hassan Muhammad Sura Muhammad, known as Dr. Hassan Sur, in 1985 as a doctor he contacted the ranks of the Kurdistan Democratic Party’s Peshmerga forces. In the 1990-1991 before the uprising of southern Kurdistan, he delivered several special recommendations of President Masoud Barzani to some personalities of Soran, Shaqlawa, Pirmam, Haji Omaran region in the vicinity of Erbil governorate. In 1993, he was the head of the eleventh branch committee of Ranya of the Kurdistan Democratic Party, in 1999 by the representatives of the Congress he was elected as a standby member of the Central Committee of the Kurdistan Democratic Party (12th Congress) in the 9th place. In 2009 he became a member of the national Council of Kurdistan on Kurdistan Democratic Party’s List.
Biography
Hassan Muhammad Sura Muhammad, known as Dr. Hassan Sur, he was born in Suleymaniyah in 1955, he is a graduate of medical school of Mosul University in 1982. He knews Kurdish، Arabic and English.
Memoir of Struggle
In 1985, he contacted the Kurdistan Democratic Party’s Peshmarga Force as a doctor, in 1986 he was a member of the Qaladze District Committee of the fourth branch of the Kurdistan Democratic Party. In 1990-1991, before the uprising of Southern Kurdistan, he delivered several special recommendations of President Masoud Barzani to some personalities in the Soran, Shaqlawa, Pirmam, Haji Omaran, and Khalifan region in the vicinity of Erbil governorate for the purpose of supporting the uprisings, including to Anwar Bag of Betawata, Osman Bag of Miran of Shaqlawa, Saeed Agha Shetna, and Sheikh Shush Nahri for the purpose of supporting the Kurdistan Peshmerga forces against Saddam Hussein 's regime (1937-2006) Saddam Tikriti the president of Iraq.
In 1991, he was the head of the Qaladze District Committee of the fourth branch of the Kurdistan Democratic Party, in 1993 he was the head of the eleventh branch committee of the Kurdistan Democratic Party – United, he was a member of the investigating and monitoring committee of the Kurdistan Democratic Party – united, he was the director of a hospital, in 1992-1997 he was appointed as the general manager of Health in the Kurdistan Regional Government, in 1999 he was elected by the representatives of the Congress as a standby member of the Central Committee of the Kurdistan Democratic Party (The 12th Congress) in the ninth place. In 2003, he was appointed as the deputy of the head of of the Eleventh Branch committee of Rania. On Thursday, April 24, 2003, he published an article in the Brayati (Brotherhood) newspaper an Organ of the Kurdistan Democratic Party.
In 2003, he was appointed as the deputy head of the third branch committee of the Kurdistan Democratic Party, in 2004 he was appointed for the second time as the head of the eleventh branch committee of Ranya of the Kurdistan Democratic Party. In 2009 he was the nominee of Kurdistani List for the election process of July 25, 2009 of National Counsil of Kurdistan. In 2009 he became a member of the National Council of Kurdistan (third round) on the Kurdistan Democratic Party’s List, in 2009 in the third round of the Kurdistan National Council, he was elected by the representatives as the deputy president of the National Council of Kurdistan. On the 6th of October 2009, he was a member of the Health and Environment Affairs Committee of the Kurdistan National Council (third round).
On October 6, 2009, he was a member of the Communication, Culture, Media and Monuments Committee in the Kurdistan National Council (third round), in 2009-2013 he was a member of the Health and Environment affairs Committee of the National Council of Kurdistan, in 2010 he was the representative of the thirteenth Congress of the Kurdistan Democratic Party in Erbil, On February 15, 2012, he was elected by the representatives as the deputy president of the Kurdistan National Council (third round).
