Hashem Merozi

Martyr Hashem Aziz Ahmed, known as Hashem Merozi, commander and Peshmerga of both the Second Barzan Revolution and the September Revolution, he joined the ranks of the Second Revolution of Barzan in 1945, in 1961 he became the Peshmerga in the September Revolution, and on May 10, 1965, he was martyred in the Battle of Atrush Mountain


Biography 

Martyr Hashem Aziz Ahmed, known as Hashem Merozi, was born in 1925 in Meroz village in Muzuri Bala area of Mergasor district of Erbil governorate. He married twice, his wives were Basna Khalil and Fayroz, he had 6 sons and 4 daughters, two of them were martyred named Hussein Hashim Aziz Merozi in 1996 and Sadiq Hashem Merozi was martyred in 1986.


Memoir of Struggle 

In 1945, he joined the ranks of the Second Revolution of Barzan and became a Peshmerga, one of the fearless and brave Peshmerga of the Barzan Revolution, because of his loyalty and knowledge at the young age he was a prominent person in the clan of Mazuri, he was the representative of Sheikh Ahmed Barzani in the clan Of Mazuri, in 1961 he became a peshmarga in the September Revolution in the same year he became the duputy to Issa Swar Selki, commander of Zakho force.

He participated in many battles as a commander and supervised the Peshmerga forces, including battles of Zakho stream, Batifa, Gali Spi, Ain Zala, Matina, Gara, Zawita, Atrush, and the stream of Qaymat, he was seriously injured twice. Due to his experience and bravery receives the position of the Commander of the Shekhan force by the legendary Barzani.

On May 10, 1965, he was seriously injured in the battle of Atrush Mountain, and after a few hours, he was martyred because of the severity of his wound and was buried in the village of Hasnka in the Mazuri area of Atrush Mountain, he was one of the martyrs whose grave was unknown, but after 45 years of martyrdom his tomb was found.

Khidr Abdullah Rasul also known as Khidr Dabagh was a Peshmerga of the Aylul Revolution. It was in 1963 when he contacted the Peshmerga forces of the Aylul Revolution. Later on, He became the commander of the Artillery Force of the Aylul Revolution and an assistant to Mala Mustafa Barzani for artillery affairs.

Mohammad Hassan Bajlouri

Martyr Commander Mohammed Hassan Salim Ahmad was a Peshmerga of both the Aylul and Gullan Revolutions. In 1961, he contacted the Kurdistan Peshmerga forces. Then he was promoted to the rank of commander of the 4th Battalion of the Duhok Forces. On 26th November 1983, in the battle of Shino, he was martyred.
