Ghazi Mohammed Arif Mohammed

Martyr Ghazi Mohammad Arif fled to Iran after the fall of Aylul Revolution. He was also a Peshmerga of the Gulan Revolution. He even became a commander in his lifetime. Unfortunately, in 1981, he was ambushed by a PUK force in the Sharazoor plain with two comrades and was martyred.

Ghazi Mohammed Arif, also known as Ghazi Sheikh Mohammed Mir Sur, was born in 1957 in Mir Sur village of Khurmal district. He was a farmer and a villager. He completed his primary-level studies. He was relocated to Iran and made his home in Marivan after the Aylul Revolution failed.

In 1977, he became a Peshmerga in the Martyr Abubakr Bani Banoki’s Battalion, which belonged to the Suren force of the fourth branch of the Kurdistan Democratic Party (KDP). Furthermore, he participated in the Iranian Democratic War, the Kaneskan War, and he was an activist in the Sharazoor plain. Then, in 1979 he received the rank of commander.

On October 8, 1981, he was ambushed by a PUK force in the village of Qayeri Marf in the plain of Sharazoor. Ghazi Mohammed Arif and two others, one of whom was his brother, Sabah Sheikh Mohammed and Jamal Bani Banuki, were martyred.

Unfortunately, in 1982, he was tragically martyred by a betrayer while serving as a Peshmerga. This individual seized his weapon and a portion of his body and surrendered to the Ba'athists.

Jalal Mohammed Ahmad

Martyr Jalal Mohammed Ahmad served as a Peshmerga during the May Revolution. Throughout his Peshmerga career, he encountered two occurrences of injury. In 1982, he was apprehended by the Sulaimani security forces and subsequently executed. Jalal Mohammed Ahmad was born in 1962 in the village of Dula Suri, located in the Nalparez district of Penjwen district. He grew up as a villager and received education up until primary school.
