Faraj Hassan Mohammed Ahmad

Martyr Faraj Hassan Mohammed was a Peshmerga of both the Aylul Revolution and the Gulan Revolution. During his political career, he became a member of the regional committee. He was martyred in 1987 by a traitor with two comrades.


Faraj Hassan Mohammed was born in 1937 in Shaneri village of Said Sadiq district. He was a villager and a farmer. Also, he owned a shop in Said Sadiq market. After the collapse of the Aylul Revolution, he became a refugee in Iran and settled in Marivan. He was married to Aska Karim and had two sons and three daughters named Hussein, Adnan, Nasrin, Nask and Pakhshan.

In 1974 he joined the Kurdistan Democratic Party (KDP) as a Peshmerga. Then, in 1983 he joined the Peshmerga forces of the Gulan Revolution. Moreover, He served as a Peshmerga in the Suren force of the Fourth Branch of the Kurdistan Democratic Party's (KDP) Darbandikhan Regional Committee. After that, He was appointed as a regional committee member following the formation of the Sharazoor Regional Committee in 1986.

In 1987, when their headquarters was in Karajal, he and two of his companions were killed by a traitor they believed to be a reliable friend. He later dismembers their bodies and delivers various pieces of Faraj Hassan Mohammed and his two companions to the Iraqi security agency in order to persuade the Ba'ath Regime and earn money from them.

Jalal Mohammed Ahmad

Martyr Jalal Mohammed Ahmad served as a Peshmerga during the May Revolution. Throughout his Peshmerga career, he encountered two occurrences of injury. In 1982, he was apprehended by the Sulaimani security forces and subsequently executed. Jalal Mohammed Ahmad was born in 1962 in the village of Dula Suri, located in the Nalparez district of Penjwen district. He grew up as a villager and received education up until primary school.
