Ayub Mohammed Hama Rahim Nader

Martyr Ayub Mohammed Hama Rahim, a cadre of the secret organizations of the Kurdistan Democratic Party (KDP), was a Peshmerga of the Gulan Revolution. He was captured by Ba'ath regime soldiers in the battle of Ahmad Awa in 1983, and he was tortured to death in Halabja. He is one of the martyrs whose grave is unknown.

Ayub Mohammed Hama Rahim Nader was born in 1951 in Tewela village of Biara district. He was a gardener who resided in Tewela. He had primary school graduate literacy skills. 

 

He joined the Kurdistan Democratic Party (KDP)'s Tewela organization in his youth and lived in the Halabja region. He quickly rose to the status of one of the area's most active cadres.

 

In 1981, he joined the Peshmerga forces of the May Revolution. He became a Peshmerga in the Hawraman forces of the KDP under the command of Nader Hawrami. At the same time, he became a member of the Ababayli organization in Halabja. Moreover, in 1983, he participated in the battle of Ahmadawa. Unfortunately, many of the Ba'ath regime's soldiers and (Jashes) took part in the attack in this battle. The attack resulted in the martyrdom of two Peshmergas, Anjuman Mamayara and Rauf Hajiji. After Ayub Mohammed, Younis Faraj, Naji Hamalatif, Hama Mam Ali and Ramazan ran out of resources and ammo to continue fighting, they were arrested by the regime soldiers and transferred to the security forces of Halabja. Sadly, Ayub Mohammed Hama Rahim was martyred following several days of torture that included burning and cutting off his body parts. He is one of the martyrs whose grave is unidentified because his body was not returned to his family following his martyrdom.

Unfortunately, in 1982, he was tragically martyred by a betrayer while serving as a Peshmerga. This individual seized his weapon and a portion of his body and surrendered to the Ba'athists.

Jalal Mohammed Ahmad

Martyr Jalal Mohammed Ahmad served as a Peshmerga during the May Revolution. Throughout his Peshmerga career, he encountered two occurrences of injury. In 1982, he was apprehended by the Sulaimani security forces and subsequently executed. Jalal Mohammed Ahmad was born in 1962 in the village of Dula Suri, located in the Nalparez district of Penjwen district. He grew up as a villager and received education up until primary school.
