Abid Rahim Abdullah Mohammed, a martyr was born in 1964 in Biara semi-district of Halabja province. He completed his primary and secondary education in Biara and went to Sulaimani to study agriculture in high school.
In 1979, he went to Iran and became a Peshmerga in the Martyr Younis Ali (Arif Younis) detachment, which was a part of the Mohammad Ramazan Battalion of the Hawraman forces of the Kurdistan Democratic Party (KDP).
In 1981, Abid Rahim and his comrades Younis Ali, Arif Younis, and Hama Zamaqi went to the Sharazoor Plain for partisan activity. They stayed one night to rest in the village of the Kheli Hama in the plain of Sharazoor. At sunrise, a large force of Ba'ath regime soldiers and mercenaries surrounded the village and asked them to surrender, but the three Peshmerga decided to confront them. After a few hours, a comrade named Hama Zamaqi was martyred and his fighting position remained empty. Then the enemies surrounded Abid Rahim, Younis Ali, and Arif Younis and arrested them wounded. There is preliminary information that they were seen in prison in Mosul, but since then they have been missing.
