A Peshmerga force, accompanied by one of our effective heavy guns, went behind enemy lines. At 3:00 p.m. on 22/11, it launched a surprise bombardment of the Kani Miran camp from the very first shell. The bombardment continued for an hour and a half, fires broke out, and all the camp's guns were silenced. It is worth noting that Kani Miran was an open, box-shaped camp without shelters or trenches. It had been established about six months earlier and contained a battalion headquarters. Most of the shells fired at our fronts came from this camp. The invading enemy believed the camp was beyond the reach of our artillery. During the bombardment, the enemy became confused and its camps fired in every direction at various targets, but to no avail. Aircraft were then summoned. At 4:30, two enemy MiG aircraft bombed the village of Qulla Goz without warning, where dozens of Peshmerga, civilians, jash, and soldiers were present. Enemy artillery continued firing the following day, including at the slopes of Pira Magrun opposite Suse. The next day, eight aircraft came in four waves to bomb our positions at Surdash, but our anti-aircraft guns confronted them, forced them to retreat, and prevented them from causing any harm in the area. Enemy losses were very heavy. We learned with certainty that the first two shells that struck the camp hit enemy personnel, and at least two ZIL vehicles carried away the bodies of the dead at night. The army prevented the jash from approaching the camp and shouted at them, calling all Kurds traitors. It is reported that the battalion commander was either killed or wounded. Dozens of tents and large quantities of ammunition were burned, and people heard explosions coming from the camp. The camp was also evacuated of vehicles and animals, and even the Suse camp placed its vehicles in valleys and behind hills. Enemy morale is low. We will provide further details as they reach us. We suffered no losses. Certain and lasting victory to our glorious revolution; disgrace and shame upon the fascist Aflaqists and the traitorous jash. Forward under the banner of our Kurdistan Democratic Party, led by the heroic Peshmerga command.
