On the evening of 7/25, our artillery struck the Zakho battalion camp, and as the first shells fell on the target, one of the support company machine gun platoons opened fire. The Ramadan Haji Mirza Al-Guli platoon was lying in wait on the path of the heavy and medium machine gun fire on the camp from another direction. Thick smoke rose from the camp after the operation was carried out. Bomber aircraft circled over Zakho and dropped flares. On the morning of 7/26, a bomber aircraft raided the areas adjacent to the Zakho camp with heavy bombs. The enemy then looted and burned the coast of the Christian village of (Bedar) located one kilometer south of Zakho. The criminal assault extended to the village's brotherly monastery, and the village citizens were terrified. The criminals also burned the village of (Cham Kurk) after the village of Bedar, and dozens of families are still living in the open, and their caravans have reached the Turkish border points. On the evening of 7/26, 3 Hunter aircraft raided the villages of the Mam Yazdin area, and fire broke out in the area's properties. On the same day, a bomber aircraft raided with bombs, striking the town of Zakho. We will provide you with details in subsequent telegrams, and forward under the leadership of Barzani.
