The local branch of Sinjar informed us that the position of the Qaimaqam and the Security Commissioner of Sinjar is negative and opposed to the March 11 statement. They strongly prevented the masses from holding their celebrations for the occasion. The Qaimaqam himself took down a picture of Ahmad Hassan al-Bakr from the hands of the demonstrators and is determined to stop the Nowruz celebrations. In our opinion, he is from the Leftist Ba'ath. Please order to put an end to his actions.
