In the name of the Ninth Battalion forces in the Garmian region, we support you on the occasion of your historic statement to resolve the Kurdish issue in a peaceful, fair, and new support for Arab and Kurdish brotherhood and for the unity of the Iraqi national people. Our Kurdish people and our Kurdistan Democratic Party, at the time we support the statement, pledge to you that we will exert our utmost efforts to ensure its implementation in text and spirit with the national authority, the Arab Socialist Ba'ath Party, and other forces in the country. Our people will stand as one rank against the conspiracies of colonialism and reaction against our beloved Iraq, and we will remain faithful soldiers for our national unity in Iraq. Long live Arab and Kurdish brotherhood forever.
