Your important historical statement in solving the Kurdish issue in a democratic way that guarantees the national rights of our Kurdish people on the basis of autonomy has gladdened the hearts of the sincere people of the Iraqi nation. It is a great and bold step that you have taken, which no one else has done in the past eras. It is also a support for Arab-Kurdish brotherhood in sincere national unity. Our people and the Kurdistan Democratic Party, at a time when they support the historical statement with hearts full of sincerity, pledge to you and the Iraqi people to exert the utmost efforts in cooperation with the national authority, the Arab Socialist Ba'ath Party, and other benevolent forces in the country in order to ensure its implementation in letter and spirit, and so that we may stand as one man against the conspiracies of colonialism and reaction against our beloved Iraq.
