Original
Following our telegram 106 on 4/14-15. We were expecting the withdrawal of the military sectors attacking the Peshmerga in the Erbil plain to avoid bloodshed and to allow us to conduct an urgent and firm investigation into the unfortunate incidents that occurred recently. However, we were unfortunately informed that the clash in the area continued until the time of writing the telegram. Out of our desire to cooperate with the sincere ones to create a calm atmosphere that helps in implementing the decisions of the Ministerial Committee on 4/3, and to strengthen the national unity that concerns the Iraqi people more than at any time in the past, and in confirmation of our sincere intentions to put an end to those unfortunate incidents, we propose forming a joint committee to conduct the necessary investigation immediately upon the withdrawal of the attacking sectors. The use of force to address these problems does not serve the public interest and does not lead to any good results, but rather complicates them more and may lead to unexpected results.
