This book is a historical-political study on the role of the Kurdistan Democratic Party (KDP) in the liberation movement of the Kurdish people in South Kurdistan between the years 1976-1991, consisting of an introduction, a summary of the study, a preface, three chapters, appendices, and a summary of the study in English.
In the first chapter of this book, the role of the Kurdistan Democratic Party (KDP) in the liberation movement of the Kurdish people between the years 1976-1979 is discussed and it contains two topics that are about the rise of the Kurdistan Democratic Party-Iraq on the political level and the organization of social strata, as well as the Kurdistan Democratic Party (KDP) and how the armed revolution emerged and the role of the KDP in the Gulan Revolution and military activities against the Iraqi government.
The second chapter is about the role of the Kurdistan Democratic Party in the liberation movement of the Kurdish people between the years 1980-1985 and consists of five topics: the role of the Kurdistan Democratic Party (KDP) in the Iraqi opposition union, military activities against the Iraqi government, demonstrations and popular uprisings of Kurdistan and the civil war of Kurdistan, the position of the Kurdistan Democratic Party (KDP) regarding the political developments of Iraq and Kurdistan and the emergence of the Iraq-Iran war, and the position of the Kurdistan Democratic Party (KDP) regarding the meetings of the Patriotic Union of Kurdistan (PUK) and the Iraqi government.
In the third chapter of the book, the role of the Kurdistan Democratic Party (KDP) in the liberation movement of the Kurdish people between the years 1986-1991 is discussed and it covers four topics: the role of the Kurdistan Democratic Party (KDP) in the reconciliation between the political parties of Kurdistan, military activities against the Iraqi government, the establishment of the Kurdistan Front, and the Kurdistan uprising of March 1991.
