Political Developments in the Barzan Region during the years 1902-1932

This book consists of an introduction, an analysis of sources, and four chapters.

 The first chapter consists of three sections that discuss the geographical location and the social and economic Situation of the Barzan region.

 The second chapter contains four sections, discussing the lineage of the Barzan Sheikh family, a historical summary of the life of Sheikh Abdul-Salam II, and the relationship of Sheikh Abdul-Salam with Kurdish associations and organizations.

 The third chapter of this book, which consists of three sections, discusses the 1908 coup of the Committee of Union and Progress, the military campaign of the Unionists against the Barzan region, and the execution of Sheikh Abdul-Salam Barzani.

 The fourth chapter has five sections and discusses the political situation of Southern Kurdistan before the first Barzan revolution, the life and struggle of Sheikh Ahmed before the outbreak of the first Barzan revolution, the political and military efforts to weaken the position of the Sheikh of Barzan, the situation of Barzan from January 9 to 12, 1931, and the suppression of the first Barzan revolution and its consequences.
