The Bombing of Zewe Camp and International Laws - June 9, 1985
On June 9, 1985, in the heat of the Iran-Iraq War, eight aircraft of the Ba'ath regime brutally attacked Zewe Camp, a camp specifically for the settlement of Kurdish refugees from South Kurdistan, located in East Kurdistan. As a result, 150 civilians, including the elderly, children, and the disabled, were martyred, and nearly 400 other citizens were wounded, most of whom were students who had gone to their school to receive their final year results.
