Ghafur Muhammad Salih, was Known as Ghafur Glajali, was born in 1955 in the village of Glajali belonging to Bamo sub-district of Halabja Governorate, he was a resident of Zarayan town and was busy with trade in the Zarayan market.
In Year 1982 in the Sirwan Force of the Kurdistan Democratic Party, under the command of Jalal Lawarani he became a Peshmerga, on May 3, 1983, with two comrades named Sulaiman Abdulrahman Tagozi and Fayaq Ali Ghafur, near the village of Hokani in the Tagozi area belonging to the city of Halabja, they fell into an ambush by the Ba'ath regime's mercenaries, as a result, a confrontation occurred and Fayaq Ali was martyred at the beginning, and Ghafur Glajali was hit by a bullet in his leg and his leg was broken, he was captured wounded by the mercenaries and the head of the mercenaries separated his head from his body with his own hand and martyred him, he sent his headless body back to his family and sold his head to the Ba'ath regime, also Sulaiman, his comrade, was handed over wounded to the soldiers of the Ba'ath regime and after one year and three months of imprisonment he was executed by firing squad and was martyred.
