The 14th Congress of the Kurdistan Students Union was held on November 3 and 4, 2012, in the Martyr Saad Abdullah Hall in the city of Erbil, under the supervision of President Masoud Barzani, under the slogan (Yesterday struggle, today science, tomorrow innovation) and with the presence of Fazel Mirani Secretary of the Political Bureau of the Kurdistan Democratic Party and Masrour Barzani, member of the Political Bureau of the Kurdistan Democratic Party and Advisor to the Kurdistan Region Security Council1.
After reading the speeches of the attendees and preparing the report of the assigned committees, the secretary and members of the secretariat were elected by the votes of the congress members as follows:
